Great Expectations

You may have thought that this post would be based on a Charles Dickens novel, but you were wrong. DEAD WRONG! Actually unless you're studying Brit Lit like me that probably wasn't your first insinct. We all have expectations. This week has been filled with unmet expectations. I expected to get a perfect score on my last physics quest (quiz+test...good one prof. yonhog) and while I did better than my usual I was still disappointed. I expected a friend to do one thing and he did the complete opposite. I expected to have a kick-butt work out on Tuesday. I was really looking forward to some much needed stress relief and while the exercises were difficult (try doing a plank on only one arm and one leg...ouch) I wasn't totally satsified at the end. Then there's bigger and broader expectations lik expectations for a class, an audition (I have 2 or 3 coming up... :O), or even friends. So from now on I'm going to try to avoid expectations. Not in a cynical/pessimitic way just in a realist/down to earth way. And I'm going to need all the grounding I can get to make it throughthe rest of High School. But to turn this post around I'll comment on some events that have recently exceeded my expectations. Things like Sunday's jog, Tuesday's voice class, today's cappuchino, or today's episode of "The Office" (I loved the RENT parody). It's the little things that keep me going :D

Herrre we go!!!

This is my first post and it's for the pure sake of first posting. After reading my friend Sonya's blog, she told me I should start my own. It seemed like a pretty good idea since I like writing and feel like I have a lot to say. I don't really know where this blog is going so I think I'm just going to sit back seat and see where my keyboard takes me. If you're reading this either you're a) my number 1 fan in which case you should send me a present after reading b) a stalker eek! c) someone with wayyy too much time on their hands...find a hobby or d) someone actually interested in my life. Ok so maybe the last one was a joke. Whoever you are thanks for being with me from the beginning...I'm glad my first time was with you ;) First post down time to sleep.
